Education Management/Admissions & Transfers System

Bury Council's Children, Young People and Culture Department current Education Management/Admissions IT system contract is due for review. We therefore need to ensure systems:

• Accurately record data and be able to share that data securely with relevant professionals and public. • Have solutions that are digital by default, allowing parents, schools and other external stakeholders to securely access relevant information anytime and anywhere. • Provide easy to use, flexible systems that allow professionals to spend more time working with children, young people and families. • Be sustainable, so that resources are used effectively and financial efficiencies gained, without sacrificing quality and output. • If possible reduce the number of systems used in Childrens Services for operational, safeguarding and information sharing between services.
