Placement Services - HMO Licenced Properties Sought

Exeter City Council has an immediate need to increase access to HMO licenced accommodation to provide accommodation for homeless people. They are actively seeking landlords who may be able to offer up to 80 rooms for the most vulnerable persons that the Council need to house. The Council is ideally seeking properties in a good state of repair that offer tenants high quality living space for both families and single people. This may include garden access and communal areas.

Landlords interested in responding to this advert, should be aware that the Council requires properties to meet health and safety standards that include electrical and gas safety certification, fire certifications, EPC certification. Preference will be given to properties that meet this level at the time of offer.

Landlords do not necessarily have to have properties to meet the Council's full requirement and serious consideration will be given to landlords who meet the broad criteria above, but with portfolios that only partially meet the overall room requirements.
