Description
Derbyshire Dales District Council (The District Council), is the local planning authority for the Derbyshire Dales area that is outside of the Peak District National Park. In December 2017 the Derbyshire Dales Local Plan was adopted and it sets out the policies and proposals for the period 2013-2033. Regulation 10A of The Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 (as amended) required local planning authorities to review local plans, and Statements of Community Involvement at least once every 5 years from their adoption date to ensure that policies remain relevant and effectively address the needs of the local community. As part of the review process the District Council would like to commission appropriately qualified and experienced consultants to undertake an assessment of housing needs for Derbyshire Dales for the period 2017 to 2037 & 2040 and to provide a substantive updated evidence base for the review of the Derbyshire Dales Local Plan.
