## Description

This is an interim panel of technical experts to enable the continued delivery of the Capacity Market - the Government's main tool to ensure security of electricity supplies in GB\. Through the Capacity Market, new and existing capacity compete in annual auctions to obtain agreements under which they commit to making their electricity capacity available when needed in return for guaranteed payments\.
