## Description

Broxtowe Borough Council \(the Council\) is undertaking this procurement to establish a contract for the collection and disposal of glass waste\. This contract is for the collection and recycling/disposal of mixed glass EWC No 20 01 02 from Broxtowe Borough Council's, Kimberley Depot, NG16 2HX \(Waste Transfer Station EA/WML 43553\)\. It is also for the collection and recycling of colour separated glass \(However, this can be collected as mixed\) from 15 bring recycling sites \(14 public and 1 private\)\. The initial contract period is one year; the contract is estimated to commence 1 January 2024 and expire 31 December 2024\. There will be an option to extend the contract for period or periods of a further two years, subject to satisfactory performance and business needs\. Maximum contract period is three years\. The expectation is that this will be revenue generating for the Council\.
