This project was undertaken by your company for stage 2/3 and the Estates Delivery Board approved option 4 with the outturn cost of £8321k. The scope of work in summary is as follows: Installation of Fire detection in cells; upgrade emergency lighting on evacuation routes; upgrade of fire systems in accommodation and ancillary buildings; fixed misting units for the accommodation blocks, and upgrade Smoke ventilation systems to current MoJ standards; replace general alarm, pegging and cell call systems .
