Richard Hoggart Building Heating Replacement Consultant

The existing heating system within the Richard Hoggart Building at Goldsmiths University is considered life expired and in need of replacement. The university requires an external Building Services Consultant to undertake the design, production of tender documents, on-site liaison/management and completion/handover of the full replacement of the system, whilst maintaining the building in an operational state.

The works are anticipated to begin during the summer recess of 2018 (approx. mid-June to mid-September) when regular students are not on campus, however consideration must be made to the presence of staff and summer school students. As such, the works shall require careful phasing to ensure that the building can remain largely operational with particular floors/areas cordoned off for works.
