Undertaker Services for Public Health Funerals

Thanet District Council is seeking to procure undertakers services in fulfilment of our duty under the Public Health (Control of Disease) Act 1984 and requirements to arrange for burial or cremation where no suitable alternative arrangements are being made.

The Contract is anticipated to commence upon 19th July 2021 for a duration of 3 years with a possibility of two x 12 month extensions at the sole discretion of the Council.

The procurement process will be undertaken on the basis of formal quotations. Evaluation will be on the basis of criteria and methodology as set out in the Invitation to Quote document.
