Description

Our desired outcome is to procure and deliver a new, dynamic and user-friendly interface which will create more awareness and engagement within West Berkshire of available services and support. This will continue to include advice and guidance for adults, families and details of the local offer for young people with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND). It is also worth noting that this platform assists the Council to meet statutory requirements via provision of information and support as defined by The Care Act 2014, The Childcare Act 2006 and 2016, The 2014 SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) Reforms of the Children and Families Act and The Children and Social Work Act 2017.
