## Description

In order for DfT to meet our legal requirements under the Health and Safety \(Display Screen Equipment\) Regulations 1992, we are required to conduct workstation assessments for each desk/user, and provide adjustments as required to individual users\. For some users, this includes the provision of specialised software/technology\. These assessments have historically been paid for by GPC\. However, this is not permitted under DfT buying rules, given the large amount of spend involved \(c\. £60,000/year\)\. As such, we are looking to put a contract in place\. We plan to go out to market for this requirement\. However, due to our legal obligation to provide these assessments and adjustments, we need to put in a short term contract to cover period of the tender process\. This could be done with our existing supplier, The Speech Centre\. Our needs include: Livescribe equipment, Dictation software and headset, any associated training
