## Description

The magistrate campaign aims to help address the shortfall of magistrates by recruiting volumes according to local need, while also improving levels of representation in the magistracy of younger people and those from more diverse socio-economic backgrounds\. It is also important we continue to make sure that the magistracy is representative of the general population in terms of ethnic diversity\.
