Cancellation of prior notice for demolition work and construction of new cinema and associated amenities. Description in previous notice was as follows: A BBC led project continuing the Town Centre Regeneration works incorporating a new Cinema (approx. 35,000 sq. ft.), 6 new Restaurants Units (circa 20,000 sq. ft.) and associated Servicing and Public Amenity Spaces in the heart of Basildon. BBC are looking for a contractor with experience in building cinemas to deliver the project on time and within budget.
