H1726 - Suited Locks

Tenant Services are implementing a landlord's suited lock system. SDC are looking to appoint an organisation that will provide the following works /services on our behalf: • Short term, to carry out a comprehensive survey & inspection of all Tenant Services mechanical & electrical secure doors and cupboards, site offices, tenant amenity rooms and guest bedrooms. (Within approximately 28 sheltered & approximately 150 general needs blocks). • To design and install a professional bespoke suited locking system that offers the facility to grow & expand the system long term (access hierarchy in Appendix B). • To provide access to material and support to our long term repairs and maintenance contractors for the lifetime of the system. SDC envisage our R&M contractors replacing barrels and keys. • To advise on the suitability of fob access systems where practicable.
