Description
The Greater Cambridge Partnership (GCP) is working in conjunction with UKPN to find a solution to address future power network constraints around the South and West of Cambridge where there are requirements for new sub-stations to remove a significant barrier to growth and enable both renewables projects and the electrification of transport. Initially three site search areas have been identified and GCP wishes to appoint a property consultant to assist with the site search, evaluation and acquisition of land to facilitate this project. Results of the site search and initial evaluation are required for early in 2021. Acquisition of land is dependent on future Member decisions and timing is therefore uncertain. This is a further competition using the ESPO Framework 2700 - Estates Management Professional Services Lot 5: Strategic Asset Management and Development Consultancy.
