Description
The purpose of this procurement was to secure specialist strategy and analytical support to enable the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), working jointly with NHS England (NHSE), to develop robust, evidence-based plans for its priority programmes, including urgent and emergency care (UEC) and elective (planned) care. The requirement was intended to provide intensive analytical and strategic capability over a short period to develop: i. a clear and compelling case for change for both pathways; ii. a synthesised evidence and data pack covering historic, current and projected future performance; iii. a prioritised set of interventions to improve performance and productivity; and iv. strategic models to estimate the impact of proposed interventions on activity, cost, capacity and access times.
