Ryevitalise Landscape Partnership - Snilesworth Archaeological Walkover Surveys

The purpose of this brief is to seek the services of an experienced Heritage Consultant / Archaeologist who will: 1. direct the walkover surveys of the two sites, with the help of volunteers / community involvement (small groups in line with COVID guidelines and risk assessments) (more information on the two sites is below) 2. report on / record any finds 3. advise on any areas to avoid peatland restoration work, or to avoid in accessing the peatland sites 4. advise on if any further work is needed (and if so what) before any peatland restoration should take place. Further information is on in Section 3 "contract specification".
