Work description
This service is being commissioned by Wigan Council Public Health team (SWPH) who lead on children's public health services and commissioned contracts, including the 0-19 community service delivered by Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh (WWL) Foundation Trust.
The PH team are working with the Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) and partners to review the local offer for Parent Infant Mental Health over the next 2 years in order to meet local need and national priorities reflected in the NHS Plan. The Women's Emotional Health and Well Being Service is included in this review.
A suitably experienced and qualified organisation is needed to work in partnership with the Local Authority on the development and delivery of the Emotional Health and Wellbeing of Mothers with children aged 0-5 years
The aim of the service will be to reduce the number of children at risk of mental health and attachment related problems in the short and long term.
