Timeline
Description
"The purpose of the project is to conduct the feasibility study of developing a new numerical groundwater model in the North Staffordshire area and to assess existing uncertainties. This project will be based on the initial scoping study completed by the Environment Agency in 2012 - "Groundwater model of the Stoke-Derby Permo-Triassic Sandstone Aquifer Block - Scoping Study". The outcome of the project should be the detailed analyses of available datasets (geology, hydrogeological properties, climatic data, land use, artificial influences, available monitoring data etc.), water balances, recharge and runoff calculations and a list of recommendations for groundwater model development if the study outcome will be in a favour of building a numerical model"
