## Description

The Standards and Testing Agency \(STA\) is responsible for developing National Curriculum tests on behalf of the Department for Education \(DfE\)\. This contract is in relation to provision of Item Writing Services for Key Stage 1 English grammar, punctuation and spelling\. The items are destined for tests that assess elements of grammar, punctuation and spelling, as set out in the new National Curriculum programme of study for English at Key Stage 1\.
