GB-London: T0404 - Expert Services for the Undertaking of the GLAs' Triennial Risk Management Review

Description

The General Lighthouse Authorities (GLAs) for the United Kingdom and Ireland will be undertaking a comprehensive risk management review in 2018. The main purpose of the review is to consider changes in the GLAs' risk exposure and to make recommendations for dealing with any associated losses through the use of loss prevention and control measures, insurance cover and self insurance supported by a contingency sum in the General Lighthouse Fund (GLF) reserves. The outcome of the review will be presented to the GLAs' annual meeting with Government and the UK Chamber of Shipping. The purpose of the expert services will be to provide an external validation and commentary on the effectiveness of the GLAs' risk management methodology and loss control measures, to feed into the overarching review being conducted by the GLAs. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
