## Description

The Leicestershire Academies Insurance Scheme \(LAIS\) was established in 2011 following the first conversions to academy status of three Leicestershire maintained local authority schools in August 2011\. A contract to renew this provision for initial contract period of 3 years from 1st September 2017 to 31st August 2020 with the option to extend the contract for up to a period\(s\) not exceeding 24 months\.
