Framework for Kielder West Forest Management Operations

The Forestry Commission have awarded a framework agreement for the planting of mostly bare rooted conifer trees for restock, the planting of conifer trees for beat up, the planting of broadleaved trees in tree shelters, the treatment of year one and two sites with insecticide top up spray and hand, mechanical and chemical weeding of sites up to 5 years old. This work is offered across Kielder West Beat & the Continuous Cover Forestry areas of Kielder Forest, North England Forest District.
