Beach works and sand relocation

Description

Ryde Town Council require a contractor to carry out the relocation of approximately 20,000 cubic meters of sand from one location to another 1400metres away. This is to clear sand that has built up over a number of years due to longshore drift around Ryde Harbour. The contractor will be required to provide risk assessments, a detailed plan of the works, on site project management, an achievable timescale. Due to the nature of the work and high water line the contractor may be required to create a temporary road along the foreshore to allow access throughout the day.
