The overall objective of this project is to establish and manage a Decision Support Unit for DFID DRC’s Private Sector Development programme. This programme aims to improve the incomes of over 1m small producers by 2021 through transformational changes to key market sectors, the business environment and access to finance. The Decision Support Unit will play a critical role in the independent verification of programme results and their impact on the poor. It will also be the means through which project progress is assessed for annual reviews and payment by results mechanisms.
