With this has come an increase in delay minutes due to trespass, and injuries and deaths of trespassers. Trespass is also a factor in crimes such as cable theft, vandalism and fare evasion. When the trauma of injuries and deaths to the friends and family of the deceased, staff involved, or witnesses is considered, it can be concluded that trespass damages every part of the rail ecosystem. To improve industry understanding of why trespass occurs and what is effective in preventing it, to inform industry decision making and reduce the incidence of trespass on the network Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs).
