The demand for health economics advice and support is strong and increasing - both from within PHE and from other national and local bodies, including local government and the NHS. The Tailored review, published in April 2017, recommended PHE makes best use of economic data in its work . Furthermore, Evidence into Action gives a clear commitment from PHE to develop work in this area. Finally, the NHS 5-Year Forward View also recommends that health economics should play a strong role in influencing the investing in prevention agenda.
