The overarching business objectives behind this piece of research are to provide HMRC with a greater understanding of the health of the tax administration system including: - Stakeholders' perceptions of HMRC's performance against our objectives, and how these perceptions \(including key reputational dimensions of familiarity, favourability and advocacy\) have changed over time\. - How to build trust with stakeholders through HMRC communications\. - Stakeholders' priorities and concerns regarding HMRC's programs and work over the past 12 months\. - How stakeholders view their role in relation to HMRC\. - The impact of perceptions on advocacy/critical friend levels amongst stakeholders and how advocacy can be increased\. - How HMRC's reputation amongst stakeholders compares with the reputation of other government departments\.
