GB-Watford: Waste Bin Labelling Services

Watford Borough Council (WBC) is seeking a supplier to provide, print and post out labels to residents for their resident requested waste service. The contract is for an initial 3 years with optional extensions, at the discretion of the Council, of up to a further 2 years. 5 years in total. This is a service-based contract. The council is not able to commit / order stock of labels up front, we will need you to be able to cope with an uncertain amount of orders. At this point WBC are estimating between 10,000 and 18,000 label packs per year. WBC anticipates there to be peaks and troughs throughout the year, with the bulk of the orders during May - August annually. Volumes for the rest of the year are expected to be greatly reduced. The service process must include: 1.Residents applying for a waste label on-line via the Council's website 2.Integration of the address details and the number of labels requested into Supplier's system 3.The Supplier to provide and print the labels 4.The Supplier to deliver the label packs to residents 5.The packs to be delivered within a maximum of 10 calendar days (including non-working days) If you are interested in this opportunity, please complete and return the Expression of Interest document by 10th January 2025. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
