## Description

HMRC intends to procure key Money Transmission Services \("MTS"\) on behalf of Government Banking in FY23/24\. The existing MTS contracts were awarded in 2015 and will expire in March 2025\. As a result of legal and regulatory changes, as well as developments in the payments industry landscape, it is expected the new contracts will require bespoke amendments for which HMRC requires specialist legal advice\.
