Work description

Derby City Council (the Council) is undertaking this procurement to establish a Framework Agreement for the supply of Rolled Asphalt, Asphalt Concrete (Coated Macadam) and Coated Chippings for collection and delivery.

The framework is split into three lots.

Lot 1 Ex Works (Collected from Suppliers Depot) Lot 2 Supply of Hotbox and Material at Highway Maintenance Depot, 15 Stores Road, Derby DE21 4BD Lot 3 Material delivered to other locations within the Derbyshire area.

The initial Framework Agreement period is 2 years; the Framework Agreement is estimated to commence 24th February 2023 and expire 23rd February 2025.

There will be an option to extend the Framework Agreement for 2 years in annual increments, subject to satisfactory performance and business needs. Maximum Framework Agreement period is 4 years

There is a maximum budget of £1,200,000 per year of the Framework Agreement. Please note that this is an indicative value based on previous spend and is not a guarantee through this framework.

Please note, suppliers wishing to express interest and obtain the documentation, must do so by 15:00 on 08th December 2022. It is recommended that you express interest and obtain the documentation well before this time to allow sufficient time to prepare and submit a comprehensive response. The deadline for returns is 14:00 on 09th December 2022
