## Description

In response to the climate emergency, we plan to become Net Zero by 2030\. To accomplish this, we recognise the need for innovative thinking and a different approach in tackling the magnitude and speed of the climate crisis\. The Net Zero Carbon for Infrastructure Programme enables teams to construct, operate, and maintain our infrastructure assets in the lowest carbon way possible\. Consistent and effective change management and stakeholder engagement is a fundamental element of our programme strategy and is essential if we are to successfully introduce new ways of working at the pace we need to change\. Project within our programme all cycle through a gated process of development, testing, implementation and embedding until new ways of working become business-as-usual processes\. We have recently developed and testing a range of new carbon intelligence tools which include carbon budgets, supporting data dashboards, carbon assessments and 'actual' carbon reporting processes\. These tools are now moving into the implementation phase and are being rolled out across the Environment Agency and our delivery partners\. This project will ensure our business and our partners are readied for the new tools and processes so that everyone is prepared, supported, and equipped throughout this implementation phase\. The primary outcomes of this commission are to: Speed up adoption of new tools so our teams and delivery partners are using the new carbon tools quickly\. Increase ultimate utilisation so all projects team are using our new carbon tools and processes effectively Ensure a high level of proficiency so team are using the new tools and processes competently
