## Description

The Functional Assessment Service \(FAS\) is the new health contracts to carry out health assessments on behalf of DWP\. These contracts begin on 7 September 2024 and are due to end in 2029\. The service will be split into geographical areas called 'Lots', with one provider delivering the service in each\.
