## Description

Highways England is seeking the provision of services to undertake research into signalling and VMS positioning requirements, focusing on: a\) Differences in existing signalling and VMS positioning requirements for motorways and smart motorways \(Task 2\); b\) Signalling and VMS positioning requirements for all-purpose trunk roads \(Task 3\); and c\) Seek to determine whether the existing \(and any proposed\) positioning requirements are robust based on drivers' ability to retain information presented to them via signals/VMS \(Task 4\)\.
