## Description

Reception Baseline Assessment \(RBA\) is a new assessment that will be taken when pupils enter school \(Reception age 4/5\)\. The data will be used to create a baseline from which progress to the end of Key Stage 2 \(age10/11\) can be measured and reported in school performance tables\. RBA is a suitable assessment to be digitally enabled and the procured supplier will carry out the Discovery Phase with aims to design, build and manage a digital service, working with the in-house Test Development team as they go through the development cycle for the new assessment\. Additional information: Possible extension to 3 May 2019 to include Alpha Phase\.
