Work description
This project aims to identify key opportunities and recommend best practice and models of engagement for Historic England's Regional offices' varied casework load to deliver to Social Prescribing locally. It will study one region's work and identify past and current case work to assess ways our work could be evolved to maximise the potential of individual wellbeing through local Social Prescribing contexts. . It will identify some exemplar case studies outside Historic England but in the heritage sector and will make recommendations for taking forward our engagement with this growing area of health and wellbeing delivery through Clincal Commissioning Groups, Primary Care Networks, link workers and Community anchor groups. It will require the successful contractor to learn about who we are, what we do and how we currently operate and link this with their knowledge and experience of the local health providers and networks environment.
