Notifiable Removal of Licensed and Unlicensed Asbestos

Description

The Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to undertake the Notifiable removal of Licensed and Unlicensed Asbestos. The Contractor will be required to undertake in the main Licensed and occasionally Non notifiable Unlicensed Asbestos Removal Works on an ad-hoc basis for the entire Council property portfolio. This will ensure that the Council complies with the requirements of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 (CAR 2012) for the removal of licensed and unlicensed asbestos containing materials. The Contractor is also to assist the process of removal, facilities for air monitoring and sampling, together with collection and disposal of waste. There will also be a requirement to attend out of hours/emergency calls as and when needed. This contract is to run for a minimum of two (2) years, with the option for one (1) further one (1) year extension, in essence a maximum three (3) year contract.
