Wealden District Council Minor Capital Works Contract

Description

Wealden District Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably skilled and experienced suppliers for the provision of minor capital works under an 18-month JCT Measured Term Contract. The anticipated maximum total contract value over the 18-month term is £1m. Works will be of an ad hoc rather than programmed nature and are likely to include but not be limited to: external redecorations, fencing and masonry work, disabled adaptations, door and window replacements, minor property conversions, fire precaution works and single kitchen replacements. WDC is following a 2-stage restricted procurement process to procure this Contract. Under the first stage, prospective Contractors are required to complete a Selection Questionnaire and its related appendices. Following evaluation of submitted SQs, WDC anticipates inviting a maximum of 5 Contractors to Tender under the second, final stage of the process, but reserves the right to increase that number by 1 or 2 if scores are very closely placed around the cut-off point.
