## Description

Highways England is looking to set up a contract for provision of technical services to assist in the development of research in to the causes and effects of HGV fires on the strategic road network \(SRN\) and develop and deliver a set of recommendations for Highways England to pursue\. Data collected during the project period will be used to quantify increases or reductions in HGV fires over recent years and be used to develop interventions with an aim of reducing HGV fires on the SRN\.
