Bacup Market Square RIBA 1-7

Rossendale Borough Council has been successful in its Expression of Interest (EoI) to the Future High Streets Fund (FHSF) for Bacup Town Centre. The object of the FHSF is to breathe new life into town centres and high streets in ways to help them evolve and adapt to changes in consumer demand and expectations. These changes are to be transformational; and ensure a thriving town centre able to sustain itself, its community and businesses.

To progress with the next phase of grant assessment the Council is now required to develop a RIBA 1-7 Architect to support the FHSF and other funding bodies in support of the new market square development proposals and strategic ambition outlined in the EoI. The Masterplan is considered sufficient in the completion of stage 0 - strategic definition.

Rossendale Borough Council wishes to engage with qualified consultancy support to produce the detailed architecture designs associated with RIBA 1-7; the production and submission of all statutory documents such as planning permission; procurement, management, supervision and payment of all associated RIBA 1-7 sub-contractors necessary as part of the process and attendance at project boards.
