Description

Works involve the excavation, exposure, preparation, protection and joint/carriageway reinstatement of 4no. bridge half joints (each 12.3m in length) on Woodhouse Inn Viaduct on the A57 near Worksop, Nottinghamshire. Protection of the joints involves the installation of a hybrid/galvanic anode system. Works to be undertaken outside normal working during the hours 20.00-06.00 with single lane closure with two-way traffic control, works undertaken in halves. Carriageway to be opened to normal two-way traffic during hours 0600-2000, any excavations to be suitably plated during these hours.
