## Description

To review the continued ‘fitness for purpose’ of the suite of X-ray screener competency testing programs – the National X-ray Competency Test \(NXCT\) – in the context of the emergence of advanced X-ray imaging techniques and machines, such as Dual View and Computed Tomography \(CT\) X-ray systems\. To perform a market survey of commercial alternatives to the NXCT, to compare them with the NXCT and to make recommendations\. Please see attached Appendix B - Statement of Requirements for full details Additional information: This requirement will be awarded as a contract using the Department for Transport General Conditions of Contract for Services\.
