Work description
The Business & IP Centre's 'Innovating for Growth' project provides high quality business and intellectual property advice and support services to help ambitious SMEs to innovate, to grow and to create new jobs in the knowledge economy in London. Between 2012 and 2019 the project has supported 500+ Scale-up businesses from across London. Services have been provided by the British Library's expert staff and carefully selected delivery partners in the nationally renowned and highly accessible Business & IP Centre.
Innovating for Growth is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and match funded by the British Library.
The British Library is contracted, as part of its funding agreement with the European Regional Development Fund, to commission an interim project evaluation to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the Innovating for Growth project, in relation to the monies received and the London economy. The evaluation will also bring evidence of impact, success and best practice to support future funding proposals and activity planning.
This evaluation will assess the economic impact arising from activities delivered on Innovating for Growth within the period January 2016 - January 2019.
Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
