GB-Nuneaton: External Audit Services

This is an Award Decision Notice pursuant to support the DOH Procurement Transparency Agenda ( March 2015 ):

George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust acted as "the lead Contracting Authority" with the following named Trusts, to appoint a suitably experienced and capable provider for the provision of External Audit Services: University Hospital North Midlands NHS Trust ; Northamprton General Hospital, The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust.

A mini-competition was facilitated under the Crown Commercial Services Consultancy-one framework: Lot 5.4. External Audit Services and Advice, by inviting providers on that Framework to submit a bid (closed on 29th July 2016)

The award decision is therefore set out as follows:

KMPG is awarded as external Auditors for George Eliot Hospital, Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust and the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust

Grant Thornton is awarded to University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust

Additional information: The contract value shown in no 9 of this notice represents approximate value over the total duration of this contract ( 4 years plus 1 year) This contract award is as from 1st April 2017
