Northamptonshire County Council - Weight Management Framework

Description

Northamptonshire County Council Public Health is procuring a framework with the intention of providing service users the ability to direct award / select the provider which best suits their individual needs. The Provider(s) shall establish and deliver a 12 session programme within a 15-week window of evidence-based support for people to reduce and continue to manage their weight. This must include weekly coaching support and where necessary be suitable for groups of people with a variety of additional needs. The programme should include, but is not limited to: Evidence-based advice, information and support to manage weight and maintain a healthy weight. Evidence-based advice and information on safe and appropriate levels of physical activity. Evidence-based advice and information on healthy eating, including food buying, storing and preparation, and this is culturally appropriate to a diversity of groups; Marketing and recruitment plan.
