Refurbishment of Middle Chine Bridge and Alum Chine Footbridge

Description

The works to Middle Chine Bridge are as follows: • To prepare areas of corroded steel and paint the whole of the bridge. • Remove the hand rail and prepare and paint the localised areas of the parapet. • Repair / replace areas of heavily corroded steel sections and bolts as instructed. The works to Alum Chine Bridge are as follows: • Lift the timber decking and mesh panels and remove to store • To prepare areas of corroded steel and paint the whole bridge • Paint mesh panels • Replace the decking and mesh panels
