## Description

The Large Anechoic Chamber was built in 1968 and last refurbished in the mid 1990's\. It is now in need of another refurbishment\. We would be looking for a company to remove the existing fibreglass wedges and replace them with a new set of wedges\. We would be looking to replace the existing metal grid floor with something more lightweight, maybe of GRP construction\. The refurbished chamber should at minimum: • comply with ISO 3745, ISO 26101\. A full commissioning report will be required\. • have a cut off frequency of 80Hz or below • have acoustic wedges that are fire retardant • have refurbished seals on all chamber openings • have a replacement lightweight floor capable of taking a spread load of at least 500 kg Additional information: All documents in relation to this requirement can be found at https://in-tendhost\.co\.uk/universityofsouthampton/aspx/Home
