Description
RSSB intends to use existing knowledge to provide an understanding of behaviours that will allow us to simplify the use of audible warnings in all potential warning scenarios. This will support RSSB in drafting changes to TW1 'Preparation and movement of trains and other associated standards. The project shall also confirm the functional requirements associated with horn controls, to help optimise the design and validation of horn controls on the cab desk. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
