## Description

Cefas require a multi-mode microplate reader, ideally with full spectrum absorbance, fluorescence, and luminescence to allow a range of research applications including ELISA, stopped-flow assays, protein quantification, biomarker assays, nucleic acid quantification etc\. Minimum technical requirements: - Absorbance: wavelength to range 200 to 1000 nm with no need to purchase specific filters - Fluorescence: range 350-700 nm - Luminescence: range 350-600 nm - Incubation: temperature control ranging from ambient \+4°C to 45°C - General performance: plate shaking, can read different plate formats \(e\.g\. 6, 12, 24 and 96-well plates\), possibility to read cuvettes - Software easy to use and allowing the plate reader to be controlled from a variety of devices \(PC, laptop or tablet\) - Dimensions: the equipment needs to be maximum 45cm depth \(width\) and maximum 100cm long
