## Description

The Margaret Thatcher Infirmary \(MTI\) requires the provision of new Ultra-Low Medical Beds for the registered wards within the MTI\. The requirement is to support, in the first instance, 25 new medical profiling beds for the Dementia Ward\. 2 beds out 25 need to be wider than the standard single bed width specification; this is to accommodate larger residents who does not meet bariatric threshold\. The Ultra Low Profiling Medical beds are required to facilitate most complex care requirements for those suffering from Dementia and Alzheimer's and mitigate the risk of a significant injury if a resident rolls out of bed\.
