Work description
Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council (RMBC) is seeking an organisation that has the capability to carry out long-term works relating to their Legionella Control & Monitoring Programme which includes risk assessments, remedial works and training.
It is estimated that spend related to the above is ~£150,000 per annum against ~240 locations. However, bidders should note that there is no guarantee of the same level of expenditure or the same number of locations in any one year or throughout the term of this agreement.
The day to day requests for Legionella control and monitoring services will come from the Facilities Management Team on behalf of the Authority.
The contract is to be let for an initial period of 24 months, with the option to extend for a further 2 twelve month periods, on a year by year basis.
